Additional Notes
LONGEVITY IMPACT of our Diet: cells are the fundamental units of life, and they communicate through receptors on their membranes. Herein lies the key messages to longevity.
Metabolic messengers travel via the blood to target organ/s where they cross over into the liquid surrounding those cells. Here they lock into the target organ’s cell membrane receptors, which opens the gate to get inside the cell. Inside the cell, the messenger molecule docks into the cell membrane of the nucleus (where DNA is stored) and so impacts DNA-coding, positive or negative. The science of epigenetics tells us, our DNA is not our destiny, but is rather determined by what turns them on or off.
Inside cells we also find the body’s energy factories (mitochondria). Metabolic docking also takes place via their membranes and so the messages impact our zest for life, or not.
Food, toxins, and even thoughts are all messengers controlling the functioning of our cells.
Contrary to some schools of thought, the body’s primary food source is:
- Only in 2003 did they discovery the reason why SCFAs docking into the many G-protein-coupled-receptors #41 and #43 on our fat cells – to activate releasing the hormone LEPTIN, our fat burning hormone, helping to control hunger, cravings, and our weight
- SCFA are thus key in switching on our fat burning hormone system
- Note: high fat diets, low in fiber, do not activate Leptin and therefor support ?? weight loss in the long run.
- Over time, 100s of G-Protein-Coupled-Receptors have been discovered on our cell membranes in a quest to understand the related molecular signals/messages used to communicate a function
- One third of allopathic drugs plug into these receptors – from antihistamine to SCFA can thus be considered a, like a hormone
- Just like adrenalin locks into receptors on the heart (target organ) when you get a fright, to increase your heartbeat and make available instant glucose to run away from the danger
- So the microbiome bacteria make SCFAs (a hormone-like substance) and the gut is the target organ
- But the microbiome needs fiber to make SCFA, just like for example the thyroid needs iodine to make thyroid hormones.
- heroin blocking opiate (pain) receptor

Pure fiber is one of the products I used to heal me from IBS. The other is Pure collagen and’Pure L glutamin. In 2023 I went for extensive follow up at my specialist and the report showed that I do not have IBS anymore.
